Niels Troost
Founder
Niels Troost has been active in the oil industry for over 25 years, and is the founder of Paramount Energy & Commodities SA.
His main focus is further developing Paramount Energy’s global business, and diversifying into other commodity markets.
Niels began his career in oil trading in 1992. Born in Zaandam in 1969 and a Dutch citizen, he received a degree in International Business from HES in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom.
A true entrepreneur, Niels was also a founding partner at Tenergy Trading SA, and has various other business interests in the global commodity business.
Niels is a keen cyclist, and a passionate advocate for empowering Africa and ensuring an equitable future for all.
